Summary of Academic Profile:
Nmadike G. N. Ezeji-Chigbu, is a lecturer in the Biochemistry Department of Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University, Ideato, Imo State, Nigeria.
He obtained a B.Sc. (2009) in Biochemistry from the prestigious Imo State University Owerri (2009) and an M.Sc. (2018) In Clinical Biochemistry from the dignified Federal University of Technology Owerri, where he is also studying for his Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry.
Mr. Nmadike has attended more than ten national and international conferences and workshops where he presented scientific papers on his numerous research findings and has over twelve scientific publications in national and international peer review journals.
Mr. Nmadike is a member of numerous professional associations and affiliations including the Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (NSBMB) as well as the Association of Biomedical Engineers and Technologist of Nigeria (NABET), to mention but few.
He currently serves as the Secretary Media Sub-committee of the K. O. Mbadiwe University Admission Sensitization Committee and also the Staff Welfare Officer of the Department of Biochemistry. Mr. Nmadike has received numerous honours, awards, and commendations for his exceptional academic prowess, community service and service to the nation.
Having committed himself to a life of service, he was Chief Local Government Research Assistant during the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Project on Female Genital Mutilation and Cutting in Nigeria. He, also worked as a Data Consultant, in the monitoring and evaluation team of the Engender Health/United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Fistula Care Plus Project. As a devout Catholic, he is the current Secretary, Catholic Men Organisation Day Planning Committee of the St. Lazarus Catholic Chaplaincy, Federal Correctional Centre, Owerri, Imo State, as well as Animator, Holy Childhood Association of the Pontifical Mission Societies of the Owerri Catholic Archdiocese in addition to other community services.
His hobbies are Travelling, Reading, Cooking.
