Summary of Academic Profile:

EBOH-AJOKU IRENE OGECHI is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University (KOMU), Ideato, Imo State, Nigeria. She is actively involved in teaching, research, and community service within the university system.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.) in Pure and Industrial Chemistry, a Master of Science degree (M.Sc.) in Environmental Chemistry, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree (Ph.D.) in Environmental/Analytical Chemistry, all from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

Her research interests focus on environmental monitoring, risk assessment, and analytical evaluation of contaminants in water, soil, and food matrices, with emphasis on public health and environmental sustainability.

She actively promotes the participation of women scientists in the development of their communities and the country at large and is a member of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD).

In addition, she is a registered member of the Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN), Imo State Chapter, where she participates in professional development activities and scientific outreach programs.

Apart from her academic duties, Eboh-Ajoku Irene also serves as a member of the Result Digitalization Team at Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University, Ideato, contributing to academic records management and digital transformation initiatives.
