Summary of Academic Profile:

OGWO ONYEKACHI PIUS is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University, Ideato Imo State, Nigeria. He hails from Akoba Otampa in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State, Nigeria.

Ogwo PO had his Bachelor of Science Degree (B.Sc.) in Mathematics and Master of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics both from the prestigious University Of Nigeria, Nsukka in 2012 and 2016 respectively, and he recently (2024) defended his Ph.D Thesis in Applied Mathematics at University of Nigeria, Nsukka. 

Ogwo PO is an active member of many professional bodies including Nigerian Mathematical Society (NMS), Mathematical Association of Nigeria (MAN), Nigerian Society of Mathematical Biology (NSMB), and have attended many international conferences.

In addition to his professional memberships, academic and research roles, Ogwo PO is a member of K.O. Mbadiwe University Results Development Team where his contributions help the team to ensure timely and seamless processing of results. He is also serves as the Secretary to Welfare Union of Faculty of Science, Chairman of Welfare Union of Department of Mathematics, member of KOMU Admission Sensitization Team and member of KOMU Consult.

Hobbies

Ogwo PO enjoys reading, music, listening to word of God, solving puzzles and riddles, playing and watching football
