Mrs. Glory Nwagwu, is an lecturer in the department of Statistics, faculty of Science at Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University, Ideato Imo State, Nigeria. She hails from Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area in Imo State.
Mrs. Nwagwu obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics from Imo State University, Owerri, in 2013. She further advanced his education with a master’s degree in Statistics from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, Umuahia in 2020. Currently, she is currently concluding her Ph.D. program in Statistics at Imo State University, Owerri, demonstrating her continuous commitment to academic excellence and specialization in her field.
Mrs. Nwagwu has a robust academic and research profile, having attended various conferences and workshops where she has presented her works and also a data analyst. She has published numerous journals in the field of behavioural sciences, contributing valuable knowledge and insights to the academic community. As a member of Nigerian Institution of Management, and an accredited full member of the Organization of Women in Science for the Developing world (OWSD), Mrs. Nwagwu is recognized for her contributions to Statistical analysis both nationally and internationally.
In addition to her professional memberships, academic and research roles, Mrs. Nwagwu serves as the Examination and Timetable officer in the department of Mathematics at Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University. Her leadership and dedication to student development are evident in her efforts to enhance the students experience and support for academic success.
Mrs. Nwagwu is actively involved in community service, particularly through her volunteer community outreach programs that focused on training so many young people on skill acquisitions such as cosmetology, catering services and sewing skills. She is also a member in the university’s community outreach initiative, providing guidance and support to students and young professionals in the field of Mathematics and Statistics.
Hobbies
In her leisure time, Mrs. Nwagwu enjoys reading, singing, cooking and travelling. She is also passionate about Sports and plays Traditional Board game (AYO) very well. Additionally, she enjoys seeing nature movies which she finds to be a great way to cool off and reflect.
