Dr. Christian Chinwe Ibebuogu is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University, Ideato South, Imo State, Nigeria. He is an indigene of Ubulu in Oru-West Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria.

Dr. Christian Chinwe Ibebuogu obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science Education from University of Nigeria Nsukka in 2002, a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Imo State University, Owerri in 2009, and Ph.D degree in Computer Science from Imo State University, Owerri, Nigeria in 2017.

His research interest includes Network and Data Security, Cyber Security, Information Communication Technology and General Computing. Dr. Christian Chinwe Ibebuogu has over 40 research publications in reputable journals. His love for imparting knowledge has seen him supervise over 10 M.Sc. and many Post Graduate diploma (PGD) students. He is an author and has some books to his credit.

Dr. Christian Chinwe Ibebuogu is a member of the following associations, Computer Professionals of Nigeria (CPN), Nigeria Computer Society of Nigeria (NCS) Imo State Chapter, and Computer Educators Association of Nigeria (CEAN).

Dr. Christian Chinwe Ibebuogu is an Adjunct Lecturer in the department of Computer Science KOMU who guide and directs the affairs of the department.

Awarded the Best Staff Adviser in the faculty of Physical Science and most friendly lecturer in the department of Computer Science.

Dr. Christian Chinwe Ibebuogu is the Chairman of Umuebi Progressive Union. He has attracted some government presence in his community.
