Dr. Omeye, Emmanuel Chizoba is a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University, Ideato, Imo State, Nigeria. He is a native of Eha-Alumona, Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State.

Dr. Omeye obtained his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Tansian University, Umunya, in 2012. He advanced his academic pursuit and received a Master's degree in Computer Science from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka in 2018. In 2023, he completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science (Data Science/AI) from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Enugu State.

Dr. Omeye has developed a keen research interest in biological computing and the application of data science and AI on genomic sequencing for contemporary and future medicine and drug discovery, showcasing the strength of his progressive academic diversification. His core research areas include data science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and software engineering. Furthermore, Dr. Omeye has published in many reputable peer-reviewed journals and has presented at national and international conferences.

He is also an active member of the Nigeria Computer Society (MNCS), and the Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (MCPN). In addition to his professional memberships, and academic and research roles, Dr. Omeye, is a member of the Students Interaction Committee of the Faculty of Science and also serves as the departmental exam officer.

Dr. Omeye is known for his unwavering passion for mentoring and encouraging students. He surfs the Internet, gyms, plays music, reads the Bible and political updates, also, follows Gospel online streaming a lot.
