Summary of Academic Profile:

Mr. Humphrey Uche is an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) expert and a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University (KOMU), Ogboko, Imo State, Nigeria. He hails from Nenwe in Enugu State and is deeply passionate about education, technology, societal impact and community service.

Mr. Uche holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he graduated with honors in 2002. He later obtained a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Ignatius Ajuru University, Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt in 2018, and is currently completing his PhD in Computer Science from the same institution. His academic qualifications are further enriched by various ICT certifications and trainings that keep him at the forefront of technological advancements.

Mr. Uche's research interests are focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and Cybersecurity. He has made significant contributions to these fields, with numerous published works to his credit, including "Information Retrieval and Relational: An Enhanced Overview" and "An Improved Fuzz-based System for Security and Privacy in Body Area Networks (BAN) and Mobile Health Services." He has also attended and presented at multiple ICT and Computer Science conferences, where his work has gained recognition.

Humphrey is a member of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Strategic Managers and Leaders (USA), demonstrating his commitment to professional development and leadership within his field.

In addition to his teaching role, Mr. Uche serves as the Academic Adviser and the Academic Secretary for the Department of Computer Science at KOMU. He is also a member of the University Quality Assurance Committee and played a crucial role in securing full accreditation for the Computer Science Department.

In 2020, Humphrey was honored with the Pioneer Pacesetter Award from the Spiritan Education Council, recognizing his excellence in education and leadership. This award is among several accolades he has received throughout his career.

Community Services:

Humphrey Uche is actively involved in community service as a National Leader and Gospel Minister in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria (CCRN). He is dedicated to shaping societal values and is the Secretary of the Spiritan Education Team, a body responsible for establishing schools in rural areas across Nigeria. He has also authored over ten books covering topics such as spirituality, morality, marriage, and youth development.

Hobbies:

In his spare time, Humphrey enjoys reading, writing, and singing, hobbies that complement his intellectual and creative endeavors.
