Dr. Mrs. Doris Nwakaego Ndubueze is a Lecturer in the Department of Physics at Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University, Ideato, and Imo State, Nigeria. She hails from Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.
Doris had a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Physics in 1999 from Imo State University, Owerri and Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Applied Geophysics in 2015 from University of Port Harcourt, River State. In 2021, she bagged a PhD in Physics (Geophysics) from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike. She is the first female PhD holder in Geophysics at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike. She is married to Mr. Maduabuchi Ndubueze, a Petro physicist and they are blessed with children.
She has to her credit many published academic journal articles in Geosciences which has made great impact in academic community. Her area of research interest include:Ground water Exploration, Petrophysics, Environmental Geophysics, Seismology.
Dr. Mrs. Doris, is a member of Nigerian Institute of Physics (NIP).she is also a member of National Association of Atmospheric and Solid Earth Geophysicists (NAASEG). An active member of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD). She is a member of the Admission Sensitization Committee of the university. She is also serving as her departmental welfare officer.
Dr. Doris is actively involved in community service through mentoring of students, coaching people on how to start up their own small scale businesses based on their little income. Visiting the less privileged in the orphanage homes
