Summary of Academic Profile:

Mrs. Amarachi Chisom Onyenama is a lecturer in the Department of Microbiology at Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University, Ideato, Imo State, Nigeria.  She hails from Mbaitoli Local Government Area in Imo State.

Mrs. Amarachi Chisom Onyenama obtained her Bachelor of Technology degree in Microbiology from Federal University of Technology University, Owerri (FUTO), in 2008. She further advanced her education with a Master’s Degree in Industrial Microbiology from University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State in 2016

Mrs. Amarachi has a sound academic and research profile, having attended various conferences and workshops. She has published articles in peer-reviewed journals in the field of Industrial Microbiology, contributing valuable knowledge and insights to the academic community. She is a member, Organization of Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) and Nigeria Society for Microbiology (NSM).

Mrs. Amarachi serves as Assistant Examination Officer, Department of Microbiology, at Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University. She is actively involved in community service through Organization of Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD), where she engages in several community outreach programs focused on supporting Girl Child Education.      

In her leisure time, Mrs. Amarachi enjoys reading and cooking delicious meals.
