Summary of Academic Profile:

Dr. Chidinma Olunkwa is a lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at  Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University, Ideato, Imo State, Nigeria. She is a native of Ohia in Umuahia south local Government , Abia State ,Nigeria.

Chidinma Olunkwa obtained her Bachelor of science degree in Mathematics from Abia State University, Uturu Abia State Nigeria in the year 2004. She had her Master’s degree in 2011 and Ph.D, in 2015 in Financial Mathematics at Abia State University Abia State Nigeria.  

Chidinma Olunkwa has an outstanding academic and a research oriented scholar. She has attended many workshops and conferences where she presented her research works. She has to her credit over 40 peer reviewed journal publications, published in high reputable journals. Also to her credit text books. These includes First Steps to DIFFERENTIAL EQUATION. Introduction to Sets, Logic and Algebra.

Membership of Professional associations/bodies

She is a member of National Mathematical Society Nigeria. Nigeria Association Of Mathematical Physics. Organization for women in Science for the Developing world. She has also served as an editorial member in different journals and conference.

She is currently the Head of Department of Mathematics at Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University Ideato, Imo State, Nigeria. Her unique leadership styles have impacted on both the staff and students giving rise to academic excellent.

Chidinma Olunkwa (Ph.D) has been involved in so many community service highlighting some of them is the competence test on mathematics teachers in some private school ,training of teachers on the 21st century teaching methods in some selected private school .Also has been involved in  outreaches that improved and support  humanities and communities.

Hobbies

In her leisure time, Chidinma Olunkwa (Ph.D) enjoys listening Christian music .She also enjoys reading books especially on leadership and human capacity building.
