Summary of Academic Profile:

Dr. Godwin Ukaegbu Onuoha is a lecturer in the Department of Political Science, Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University, Ideato, Imo state. He obtained a B.Sc. in Government and Public Administration Second Class Honours, (Upper Division) from Imo State University, Owerri in 1997. He proceeded to the University of Port Harcourt, where he bagged M.Sc. (2009) and Ph.D. (2017) in Political Science, specializing in International Relations.

His research interests include Security and Strategic issues, Foreign Policies and International Human Rights. He is a member of Nigerian Political Science Association, Nigerian Society for International Affairs, and Peace and Development Study Group.

He has held several administrative positions in Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University including Secretary, Faculty Board of Studies, Secretary, Faculty of Social and Management Science, Staff Appraisal Committee among others. DR Onuoha has been a consultant to Rivers State Ministry of Youth Development, researcher to Rivers as AFRIC MIL SURVEY Group, an NGO etc. His hobbies include football, listening to music.
