Summary of Academic Profile:

Dr. Ekeledirichukwu C. Njoku is an academician and researcher in the field of International and Strategic Studies.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Education/Political Science from the University of Nigeria in 2007. He also received the degree of Master of Strategic and Defence Studies from the University of Malaya (UM) in 2015. Dr Njoku’s research interests span across Conflict Resolution, Radicalisation & Terrorism in Africa, International Relations (International Security & Organisations) and Strategic Studies.

In the classroom, he is committed to fostering critical thinking among his students through thought-provoking and engaging teaching styles. Armed with a Ph.D. in International and Strategic Studies from the University of Malaya, Dr Njoku analyses the nuances of socio-political movements, the interplay between revolution and societal change, and the intricate relationships between developed and developing countries.

Dr Njoku has published in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at national and international conferences. Since November 2023, he has been serving as a member of the Scientific Committee in the International Students Social Science Congress at Izmir Katip Celebi University, Turkey.

Dr Njoku is a respected Lecturer in the Department of Political Science at the Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University, where he serves as both the Departmental Exams and Information and communication technologies (ICT) Officer, ensuring the smooth administration of examinations and integration of technology within the department. He is the Planning Committee Chairman of the Departmental Seminar Series and a member of the Nigerian Political Science Association (NPSA).
