Some Contributions to Knowledge:
My modest contributions and achievements over the years extended over such areas as Statistical Analysis of Research Data, Productive Works in Statistical Computing, Sampling Theory \& Survey Methodology, Consultancy and Human Capital Development, including the following:
Successfully carried out statistical analysis of over eighty (80) successful PhD research works. These contributions cut across research works from different fields and faculties of study like the Sciences, Engineering, Agriculture, Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, Medical Sciences and Education.
Developed a user-friendly software, entitled “Academic Transcript Software (ATS)”, for the purpose of seamless digital preparation and preservation of academic transcripts of students of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria. The ATS is currently in use at the Records and Statistics Unit of the Registrar's Office for the preparation and preservation of academic transcripts of FUTO students.
Developed the “Results Spreadsheet Software (RSS)” as part of my contribution to improving the preparation of semester results of FUTO students at the Departmental level. While the ATS deals with preparation of transcripts according to the format used by the Records and Statistics Unit of the Registrar's Office, the RSS deals with the preparation of semester results according to the spreadsheet format used at the Departmental level.
Developed the "FUTO Official Grade Report (OGR) Template,'' which is currently about the most widely-used digital productive work for results processing in FUTO. The FUTO-OGR template is designed to assist lecturers to seamlessly record, in digital format, students' scores and grades on various courses taught in the university.
Developed the "Course Re-validation Template (CRT)'' designed to assist a student in carrying out his or her personal recording and preservation of Senate-approved results.
My works and contributions in Sampling Theory and Survey Methodology included, but not limited to such areas as successive sampling or sampling on several occasions, stratification and post-stratified sampling, non-response and missing data in surveys, variable transformation and use of auxiliary variables in general. The works have been properly written and published in both local and international journals for wide readership and global relevance.
