The National Universities Commission (NUC) has considered and approved the establishment of the full-time mode of the following eight (8) new programmes to be run at Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University (KOMU) with effect from the 2024/2025 academic session.

1. MBBS. Medicine

2. B.NSc. Nursing Science

3. B.MLS. Medical Laboratory Science

4. LL.B. Law

5. B.Sc. Information Technology

6. B.Sc. Cyber Security

7. B.Sc. Public Health

8. B.Sc. Environmental Health Science

Congratulations to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Imo State and the Visitor to the University, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma.

Congratulations to our indomitable and visionary Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ikechukwu N.S. Dozie.

Congratulations to KOMU Management team, KOMU staff, KOMU students, the good people of Imo State, and all KOMU friends and well-wishers.

All roads now lead to KOMU, especially with the introduction of these eight (8) new programmes and all other giant strides of our Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ikechukwu N. S. Dozie, within a space of just three (3) years in office.
